I have had my Audi A3 in Scotland for a few years now, so when I found out about the new the Audi A3 e-tron concept car, I realised it was time for me to buy a new car. So I did a little research into the new car and found out some very interesting things about it.
TN Requin The new the Audi A3 e-tron concept car is a four-seat notchback saloon which features new technologies such as the MMI operation system, an infotainment system and plug-in hybrid engine. It is powered by two power units, a 211PS 1.4 TFSI four-cylinder engine with turbocharging and petrol direct injection and an electric motor with an output of 27PS.
The new Audi A3 e-tron concept features lithium-ion batteries which located behind the rear seats, and with a charge capacity of 12 kWh the concept can achieve a range of up to 34 miles on electric power alone.
The two transmission structures are operated by two clutches, so the gears are alternatively shifted by the two clutches quickly, smoothly and without any noticeable interruption of traction.
The centre console features four large round air vents, reminiscent of a jet's design, which can be adjusted by pushing and pulling on the centre axis of the vents. Control knobs for the automatic TN Pas Cher air conditioning system are located in the lower section of the centre console on a raised, dedicated control panel.
There is an eight inch display providing the driver information system, which also provides the operating states and power flows Nike Tn in the hybrid system.
